This cake goes along great with tea or coffee, its great for having guests over and it always gets good compliments!
Ingredients For The Recipe:
- 1 Cup of Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Cups of Sour Cream
- 3 tsp of Baking Soda
- 1 Tbsp of Vinegar
- 2 1/2 Cups of Sifted Flour
- 2 Tbsp of CoCoa Powder
Ingredients For The Cream:
- 2 Packs of Whipped Cream (8oz each)
- 6 Tbsp of Sour Cream
- 1 Can of Condensed Milk
- 1 tsp of Cocoa Powder (For the top)
Directions For The Recipe:
1.) In a small bowl with a mixer at high speed, beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add sugar gradually.
2.) In the same bowl add your sour cream and mix with a spatula.
3.) In a small bowl mix your baking soda and vinegar. Pour it into the other bowl and mix. Slowly add flower to your mixture while mixing with a spatula until it becomes a dough.
4.) Split your dough into 2 different bowls, In one bowl add cocoa powder and gently mix using a rubber spatula. Using 2 round cake forms add tin foil and spray it with cooking spray. Place 1/2 of your dough in each cake form.
5.) Preheat your oven on 350ºF, Bake for 35 minutes or until a tooth pick that is inserted to the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
6.) Remove from your pan and let them cool completely. Cut both layers into small cubes. In a large bowl mix together all of your cream ingredients. Dip each piece into your cream and create a pyramid. After using a spatula cover the whole cake with cream and then sprinkle your cocoa powder on top. Let it sit in a fridge for at least 30 minutes before eating. Place on a serving dish and enjoy!
