Shuba RouleteShuba Roulettes are made throughout the whole Europe. Salad with salty fish fillets.

Wash and dry all vegetables.                                                                                               Cook vegetables, covered and cook for 35 min in boiling salted water when tender, Drain the water out well.

IMG_2883Shred all vegetables separate.

IMG_2892Mix mayonnaise with horseradish sauce.                                                                                                   Divide mixture into 3 equal parts.                     IMG_2905

Add each part of the mixture to each plate.

IMG_2906Take sushi mat, cover it with plastic wrap.

IMG_2907Put fish fillets on sushi mat.

IMG_2908Place potatoes on top of fish fillets then place carrots onto of potatoes.               IMG_2910Put beets so it covers the carrots.

IMG_2911With the help of the sushi mat roll up the ingredients into a roulette.                   Cover the outside of the roulette with plastic wrap.                                                                 Place into fridge for 2hours.                                                                                                               After take out the roulette and take off the covering plastic.                        IMG_2918

Divide the roulette into 5 equal pieces.                                                                                         Put all pieces of roulette into serving plate.                                                                   Sprinkle tiny slices of scallions.

Its almost like a tradition to make this salad, its originally from all of Europe. I decided to make Shuba Roulettes!

Ingredients
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 beet
  • 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 4 Fish Fillets
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish sause
  • 5 scallions
Instructions
  1. Wash and dry all vegetables.
  2. Cook vegetables, covered and cook for 35 min in boiling salted water when tender,
  3. Drain the water out well.
  4. Peel all vegetables.
  5. Shred all vegetables separate.
  6. Mix mayonnaise with horseradish sauce. Divide mixture into 3 equal parts.
  7. Add each part of the mixture to each plate.
  8. Take sushi mat, cover it with plastic wrap.
  9. Put fish fillets on sushi mat.
  10. Place potatoes on top of fish fillets then place carrots onto of potatoes.
  11. Put beets so it covers the carrots.
  12. With the help of the sushi mat roll up the ingredients into a roulette.
  13. Cover the outside of the roulette with plastic wrap.
  14. Place into fridge for 2 hours.
  15. Divide the roulette into 5 equal pieces. After take out the roulette and take off the covering plastic.
