Bulochki With BlueBerries (Pan Rolls)

Ukrainian Bulochki were passed down many generations and cooked with many different jams. My kids favorite is filled with blueberries. These bulochki are very fluffy and top all the other ways that I’ve tried making them. Try it out for yourself, and they will become your favorite as well!

Ingredients For BlueBerry Bulochki Pan Rolls:

1.) Wash and dry blueberries.

1.) Pour butter milk and cooking oil into a sauce pan. Heat up the sauce pan so its warm. In a small bowl add sugar, yeast and salt. Once you are done add the mixture to your flour and mix it to make a soft dough.

2.) On a lightly flowered surface, knead dough until it is smooth and elastic (about 10min). Shape the dough into a ball, place in side a greased bowl, cover the bowl and  let rise in a warm place until its double its original size (1 hour) . Punch down dough, transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Cut the dough into to separate pieces. Shape 2 large loafs from each half. Cut each loaf into 20 pieces.3

3.) Shape each peace into a circle. Spray your baking pan, Place a few blueberries on each piece of dough, next fold it over and pinch the edges. Connect the tops together. Place all of them on your baking pan. Preheat your oven at 400F.

4.) Coat the bulochki with egg glaze using a brush. Cook at 350F for 20 minutes or until Golden.

Cool slightly on wire racks, Serve them warm.

  • 2 Cups of butter milk
  • 1 Cup of Cooking Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp's salt
  • 7 cups Of flouer
  • 1 Oz of Yeast
  • 1lb of Blueberries
  • 1 egg
