Make one jar of theses cherries this summer and in the winter you can bake cakes and decorate your cakes. Within 3 months your cherries will taste very drunk without adding any alcohol.

1.) Wash and dry your cherries. In a large glass jar add your cherries and sugar. Also shake the jar to mix it well. Let it sit closed in a room temperature area until it lets out it juice. After you can make cake decorations with these cherries.

  • 1 liter of Sugar

  1. How can you know if they are ready? Or is it best to leave them for 3 months.

      If you think its done before 3 months than you can try one of the cherries. If it tastes drunk than its ready to be used.

  2. Hi Sveta, I noticed recipe calls “1 liter of cougar” in the print friendly section. I believe you meant to say “1 liter of sugar”. Just wanted to run that by you.

Wow cool awesome gr8 way to use up cherries love cherries but sometimes it can get overwhelming lol will definitely try this what a really gr8 way to use em up can save to make chocolate cherry cake black forest cake and sooooo many other things of that sort thanx tons for posting sweetie love ur site pretty cool and soooo are your recipes too cheers
