Flax Seed Bread contains no yeast, and is a healthy wholesome bread.
Ingredients
You’ll need 2 and 1/2 cups of sifted flour, 1 cup of flax seeds, 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda, 1 cup of kefir, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Directions
1.) First, mix your baking soda with kefir, pour it into a large bowl and mix. Next add your salt, sugar, and olive oil and mix well.
2.) Then add sifted flour and your flax seeds, mix together well with a spatula until you have an elastic dough. Cover your dough with a rag and let it rise for 2 hours in a warm area. Using your hands create a loaf on a baking pan with parchment paper. Bake the Flax Seed Bread for 30 minutes at 350ºF in your oven. Finally, let your bread cool on a drying rack, cut it, and enjoy!
