The meat roulette is a traditional dish served in the nations of Ukraine and Russia. We are glad to share this meal with you that our ancestors have passed down to us. We may have originated in different countries but you can be assured that your stomach will love this as much as ours 🙂
Ingredients For The Recipe:
You’ll need 5 hard boiled eggs and 1 raw egg. 1 potato, 1/2 a tea spoon of black pepper, 1/2 a tea spoon of salt, 1 pound of ground pork and 1 onion.
Directions:
1.) First thing first, wash, dry, peel and shred your potato and onion. In a large bowl add your ground pork, shredded potatoes, shredded onions, salt, pepper, and your raw egg. Continuing mix together well. Then place half of your grounded pork on a large piece of tinfoil paper. Peel your eggs and place them along the middle of your grounded pork. Then place the other half of ground pork on top of your eggs. Fold your tin foil around your pork making a roulette. Also place it in a baking dish.
2.) Last but not least, cover the rest of your roulette with another piece of tin foil. Then place in the oven and bake for 1 hour at 375ºF. After that, take it out of the oven and open up the tinfoil, bake it for an additional 15 minutes. Once times up your all done.
