Potato Bread (Бабусіn хліб) tastes fantastic and doesn't go bad for a long time, I would definitely recommend this recipe to anyone who likes soft chewable bread.

  • 2 Big Potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp of Salt
  • 2 Tbsp of Sugar
  • 5 Tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp of Yeast
  • 8 Cups of Sifted Flour
  1. Wash, dry, peel, boil for 30 minutes, and beat your potatoes. Let the potato mixture cool down until its warm (not hot) and add sugar, salt, yeast and olive oil and mix.
  2. Mix your potato mixture with sifted flour, then knead your mixture until you have an elastic and stretchy dough. Place it into a large bowl and let your dough rise for 2 hours while covered, at room temperature. After, place your dough into a bread form and bake it for 45 minutes in your oven at 375ºF.
