Easter Raspberry Roulette contains raspberry jam. It's healthy, tantalizing, and sweet, I always make 4 or more Easter Raspberry Roulettes because my family eats them quick.
Recipe type: Dessert, Breads
Cuisine: Ukrainian
Serves: 10 People
  • 10 Eggs
  • 3 Cups of Warm Milk
  • 1½ Cups of Sugar
  • 2 Sticks of Butter
  • 100 Grams of Yeast
  • ½ Cup of Olive Oil
  • ½ Tbsp of Salt
  • 3 Tbsp of Sour-cream
  • 1 Packet of vanilla sugar
  • 14 Cups of Sifted Flour
  • ½ Can of Raspberry Preserves
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp of Milk
  • 2 Tbsp of Sugar
  1. ) In a large bowl add your sugar, milk, and yeast, mix them together well. Let the mixture rise for 30 minutes while the bowl is covered with a cloth. Continuing, add olive oil and mix the contents of the bowl again.
  2. ) Add your melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla sugar. Again mix the contents of the bowl well.
  3. ) In a large mixing bowl add your sifted flour and then add the mixture. Next, knead the mixture mixed with flour until you have dough. Let the dough rise in a bowl or container for 1 and ½ hours while covered with a cloth. Split your dough into 4 equal pieces. Take one piece, roll it out and make cuts on the right side, then using a spatula coat the left side with raspberry preserves. Do this to all 4 pieces of your dough.
  4. ) Start rolling from the left side on each chunk of dough until you have a completed roulette. Place the roulettes on a baking pan with parchment paper. Mix your eggs with milk and sugar for the glaze and use a brush to spread the glaze on top  of each roulette. Bake the roulettes for 40 minutes at 350ºF in your oven. When time's up you have completed your roulettes, place them on a serving dish and enjoy.
